USC Aiken gets new disc golf course

University of South Carolina Aiken has a new disc golf course. The idea was a vision from a previous student government president at the university.  It took nearly a year and a half for the idea to take shape. The school got some help from the Professional Disc Gold Association in Augusta when it came to the design.The course is nine holes long ben hogan in golf digest and located along the university's Pacer Path which is used for track and field events."Interest has been great. Oak Knoll is the only city park in the area.Commissioners also are exploring expanding a rudimentary trail system around the course, to give nearby residents a place to walk.

The first course where the first 2 rounds will be played is Blue Ribbon Pines in East Bethel Minnesota. This is my favorite course in Minnesota; I have played it around 200 times since it opened so I know it well. Opened in 1970, Sugar Mill is one of the area's older, more established golf/residential communities. Both the golf course and the community reflect a graceful maturity not always found in other developments. Aged cypress, pines and oaks and other vegetation that line many of the fairways provide canopy for the residences, secluding them from hot list 2011 the golf course.
